Adam had all
power and victory and like the godly man in Psalm 1 He
prospered in all things and lacked no good thing until He
identified Himself with the beast. Who is the beast ? The
serpent of course is the famous beast that sealed off the
mind of Adam from the truth and beauty of God. The beast and
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that Adam partook
of are one. This tree was not the tree God planted, God
planted only the tree of life in the Garden of which Adam
was a part of. All the trees in the garden were one tree
and Adam was to eat of their fruit which spiritually
signifies a fellowship in light. Adam was nourished by the
richness of that river flowing from the heart of the Garden.
That flowing river in God's kingdom is likened to the flow
of the essence, the glory and the thoughts from the depths
of God. That water that flowed from the Garden can also be
likened to the knowledge of God flowing forth so that Adam
actually lived in the conscious knowledge or awareness of
God.
Adam by nature
of the way He was created bore fruits unto the glory of God.
He was fruitful in every aspect of His life until He choose
to partake of the lie of the beast.
From that
Moment onwards Adams was identified with he tree of the
knowledge of good and Evil. Adam fell from power as a result
of His rebellion and disobedience in eating from the fruit
of the tree synonymous with the Devil. It was a fellowship
with the spirit of the world that Adam entered into. He was
to hence forth bring forth thistles and thorns, no more good
fruits. He fell from the glorious garden of God to the lower
wilderness realm. In the garden he had a fertile land that
was constantly watered with the waters flowing from the
heart of God, now He was in a wilderness where there was no
water. Where there is no water, there is no way we can bear
fruits.
. He now being
a tree in the likeness of that of good and evil was now to
bear fruits different from that which He originally bore
while in God's presence. He was now to bear thorns and
thistles instead of the many coloured sweet fruits that He
once bore. All of mankind today has inherited this curse of
Adam, we do not have to look far to see the misery, the
diseases, the fears, torments, bitterness, depression,
confusion, hate, unfaithfulness, impatience and every bad
thing you see being manifested through unregenerate men.
Jesus clearly spoke in the days of His earthly ministry that
by their fruits you will know them; you will know my
disciples by their good fruits and you will know the
disciples of the beast by their fruits.
Christ was
revealed from heaven to call us back to that original state
that was designed for man, that original planting that we
were before we identified ourselves with the tree of the
serpent which is of the wisdom world and our carnal selves.
He has spoken and it will come to pass, that every tree that
was not planted by the Father will be uprooted.
Matthew
15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my
heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
John the baptist
also referred to these same trees that the Lord did not
plant.
Matthew 3:6-10
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming
to his baptism, he said to them, "Brood of vipers! Who
warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear
fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to
yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to
you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from
these stones. 10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of
the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good
fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
You see John was
prophesying by the spirit on events to come, He likened the
religious leaders to serpents and trees that did not bear
good fruits. You see here that they are one thing, these
were the offsprings of the serpent and could therefore in no
way bear good fruits. He admonished them to repent and begin
to bear good fruits that please the Lord, because every tree
that does not bear good fruit will be cut down. Being
synonymous with the satanic tree of the knowledge of good
and evil in the beginning there is no way they could have
bore good fruits. Today all mankind that is outside the
knowledge of Christ is actually part of that tree of the
knowledge of good and evil. The whole systems of the world
all fall under this category; be it earthly family
knowledge, religious knowledge and every other highly
esteemed system of man.
That tree
which the Father planted is the tree of life which is
Christ, the tree that is not planted of the Father is the
outer carnal man. Jesus identified this two different
persons when He spoke to the multitudes. He talked about a
good man and a bad man, He also talked about a good tree and
a bad tree.
Luke
6:43-45 43 "For a good tree does not bear bad
fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 For every
tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs
from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings
forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his
heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the
heart his mouth speaks.
Matthew 12:33-37 33 "Either make the tree good and
its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its
fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood of
vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out
of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good
man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good
things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings
forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle
word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day
of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and
by your words you will be condemned."
A good tree produces good fruit because of it's type, not
because it labour’s to do that, not because it was cared for
more than the others. An apple tree produce apples because
it is an apple tree not because you applied manure or
because you applied some type of technology to it. A bad
tree in likewise manner produces bad fruits because that is
it's type. A cactus plant in the wilderness will produce
thorns and bitter fluid within it because that is it's type.
Jesus said clearly that the only solution to bearing good
fruit is to make the tree good, if the tree is bad there is
no way you can get good fruit. By saying all these things
Jesus was revealing two men and two trees.
Paul hinted on this same two men in a letter to the
Galatians.
Galatians
5:16-26 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you
shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh
lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh;
and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do
the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the
Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of
the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred,
contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish
ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,
drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you
beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those
who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of
God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23
gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24
And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its
passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us
also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited,
provoking one another, envying one another.
Paul clear differentiates two men, the carnal flesh man and
the spirit man. He further describes the fruits that this
two men produce, the man of the flesh produces evil fruits,
while the man of the spirit produces good fruits. We were
all born with the knowledge of the outer carnal man that is
why we have produced fruits that definitely did not please
God in the past. We were by nature children of wrath in of
old carnal knowledge and walk. Thanks to the gospel that has
come to educate us on a man hidden within us, a man that is
known as the good man or the man of the spirit. This is the
man that of a truth is perfect before God and lives in the
glory of God. Jesus says that we have lived in the past
according to that bad man of the flesh and enriched
ourselves in the knowledge of that carnal man but the time
has come to take away that carnal man and identify ourselves
with the good man. That good man is Christ within which is
the hope of glory for the whole world. We have to pick up
our cross and die to ourselves, we have to lay aside all the
wisdom and riches we obtained from this world and receive
that which is of Christ.
All the labour of man upon the face of the earth is to bear
fruits of peace and satisfaction but they will never
succeed. No matter how technology tries with new innovations
aimed at bettering lives of men the more they will discover
lack and faults at the end of it all. No matter how the
systems of men and the systems of religion try to introduce
moral laws they will only discover that it is a waste of
time, the world can only grow more and more wicked. Why is
it so ? Because the tree is bad and it will not produce good
fruits by putting manure and by watering it in excess.
Therefore the only solution is to change the tree and this
is where the focus should be, forget your rituals of
religion and society and focus on the revelation of the true
man of righteousness hidden within us. Focus on up rooting
the old tree and taking a hold of the other tree which is
the good tree.
All we can do is destroy the old man by obediently applying
the light of the knowledge of the truth that is shining
forth in this hour. We have to apply it to our lives and
shed off the old knowledge of this world that we acquired
right from our entrance into this physical carnal world. We
have to grow in the consciousness of our true identity
hidden within which is Christ. who is Christ ? He is the son
of God, the beloved of God, the one who is one with God.
As we hearken to this good news we find ourselves planted
once more in the garden of God's pleasure and blessings. We
will find ourselves back in the place of river streams of
gladness and laughter flowing from the heart of God. We will
find ourselves bearing fruits of joy, good health, faith
unlimited, peace, meekness and boldness towards God.
John saw the vision of the end while He was on the Island
of Patmos, I say the end because when we come into the
fullness of Christ we actual have attained to the end of the
world. It is a place where we can say old things are passed
away and all things are made new. We say we have been
translated from the kingdom of darkness (the world) into the
conscious knowledge of the kingdom of His dear Son Christ.
In this place all that Jesus set out to do in relation to
our salvation is accomplished. Prophesies seize because we
have attained to the place. The End is not when you leave
your flesh body, you can leave your flesh body through
Physical death and still be in this world. The world is the
lower carnal realms that is dominated by the ignorance of
man. The End comes when we transcend into the highest realm
called God's kingdom. This transcending is available to all
men; it is available to both those who posses flesh bodies
and those who through physical death have left their bodies.
In God's kingdom the citizens are Christ and their God is
God. In that kingdom all sit on the same throne all are one
tree (the tree of life), all are like minded and bonded in
love that knows no limit so that they can not be
differentiated.
In the Vision John saw the same river that flowed in
Genesis in the Garden of Eden flowing through the streets of
God's kingdom (The new Jerusalem). He also saw the same tree
of life planted on the sides of the river flowing from the
throne of God.
Revelation
22:1-4 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life,
clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of
the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either
side of the river, was there the tree of life, which
bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her
fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were
for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more
curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;
and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his
face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5
There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light
of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they
shall reign forever and ever.
Always remember that God showed John this vision using all
these objects like crystal rivers, a throne, fruits, trees
and lamb to describe the His thoughts of the invisible,
spiritual kingdom of God. God never intended for us to dream
of carrying buckets to the river of life to fetch water
every morning to drink or never think that for eternity we
will go round Jerusalem plucking leaves and fruits. Never
think there is a physical lamb sitting on a physical Throne
in some geographical location in the sky. God is using all
this to express His thoughts on the beauty of His spiritual
kingdom.
Going back to the verses in Revelation 22:1-4, Notice the
language John is using here, He talks of many trees planted
by the banks of the river flowing from the throne of God, He
calls them the tree of life. You see that the tree of life
is actually all the trees in the kingdom of God. Likewise
the trees that God told Adam to eat from in the garden of
Eden (a sign for fellowship) were all the same tree of life.
Those trees planted by the river banks in the new Jerusalem
are we who take a hold of the Christ identity. These are the
good trees that yield fruit and leaves for the healing of
the nations. Who are the nations ? They are the nations of
the world that will eventually be healed from the curse as
they receive of the ministration of those that come to this
place of perfect victory in God.
The bible says that there will be no more curses in this
place, the ones here live in the countenance of God. There
is no spiritual winter where trees shed leaves and do not
produce fruit. There is no spiritual night here when the sun
fails to radiate light essential for the growth of the
tress. There is no spiritual drought in this place where
there is a lack of water to give vitality to the trees. So
that the trees here prosper in all that they do. Nothing can
hurt here, as we identify with the tree of life, your
emotions are healed, your bodies are healed, it is a place
of unlimited spiritual blessings where we can lack nothing.
We round up by saying that the only way to solving the
problem of humanity is to change the tree, if we want
fruitfulness in all aspects of our lives we have to abide in
the knowledge of the only begotten son and live on His
account. We have to live off our old thoughts, our
ambitions, self knowledge and lay a hold of the knowledge
that is in Christ Jesus. This is the way to salvation.
